My WAR meerschaum pipes arrived today. They are every bit as awesome in person as they looked in the photos. To say I'm thrilled is an understatement.

So, what do I do now?

I've got a doctor's appointment this afternoon (just a check-up). I half expect him to lay down the law about my smoking, rendering my new pipes as little more than neat paperweights.

To be honest, I'm scared to smoke them. It's what they're made to do, but there's a part of me that says, "Fool! Don't risk ruining them!" I'm so conflicted!!
